Description

How do you make the latest and greatetst innovation to hit the guitar world in decades even better? Use Korina Bodies and Exotic Woods like Cocobolo, Ziricote and Koa to make the most striking guitars to ever come out of the Fender USA Factory! This one has a Ziricote top on it with some of the coolest grain patterns you'll ever see! Ziricote is a tonewood gaining lots of traction lately due to it's overlaying, spider webbing, landscaping visual vibe that literally doesn't look like ANY other wood! We have even ordered this beautiful wood as the fingerboard on PRS Wood Library instruments because THAT's how cool it is! An Extremely Limited Edition, this is the ONE of these with a Ziricote Top that we will see.  the Cocobolo version sold before we could even take pictures of it.

Let's talk about the neck, which features Fender's Channel Bound Design. In this case, a White Limba neck has been channel routed and a Ebony Fingerboard has inlaid into it. This neck made it's debut a few years back and was well received. So well received in fact that it has been added to this guitar, which just happens to showcase all the other incredible feats of craftsmanship they have forged in recent years. The quality displayed here is what we'd expect from a Custom Shop not a production line!

The Fender American Acoustasonic Telecaster is here and it's even better than you can imagine. FINALLY! Someone nailed that perfect in between acoustic/electric guitar that can appeal to both worlds! The Acoustasonic Fender is made from tried and true acoustic guitar materials in Mahogany, Sitka Spruce and Ebony for tones that have spanned thru the history of recorded music.

Why it's cool. 1st, the Tele Body Style is very comfortable to the average person. People of all body types play them and agree. So this guitar is physically friendly to the vast majority of players who will pick it up. This can't be said about ANY body type in the acoustic world. Practically every sized body is too big or too small for someone.

2nd, the Fender/Fishman electronics are AMAZING! You basically have 8 drastically different Acoustic tones to choose from at either the flick of a switch or roll of a tone pot. While there are two telecaster bridge pickup tones to appreciate as well. After spending a few moments through a Fender Acoustic Amplifier, I must say I find the Fender/Fishman tones on this guitar much more pleasing than the average acoustic guitar pickup.

3rd, it's plays like an electric guitar. Strung with 11 gauge strings from the factory, this guitar runs on Acoustic Guitar Strings NOT your favorite nickel wound/steel core. It's an incredibly easy to play guitar that's acoustic tones aren't nearly as effected by string gauge like an electric. Even 10's will perform on here beautifully, allowing for acoustic tones but straight up electric guitar performance.

4th, the woods were chosen for their acoustic properties and the proof is in a much stronger than anticipated acoustic tone. Not as loud as your dreadnaught but certainly loud enough for playing unplugged on the couch and singing along to, this more than manageable guitar features a patent pending Stringed Instrument Resonance System (SIRS) that make this a pure inspiration to play.

We first caught wind of these from the NAMM show photos and were really on the fence about what to expect. To say that we are blown away is an under statement! Fender NAILED this guitar and it is supremely well executed. Stop by while we still have them as they are going fast!

Fender keeps building guitars for player's. With their eye on offering tons of features for not a whole lot of money, you can easily find the right Fender for whatever your needs may be.
