This Used Fender Custom Shop Tele Custom Relic in Red Sparkle is a fantastic instrument with true 60's Telecaster tone. The sparkle finish adds a nice touch of glam when you're in the spotlight! It comes with the tried and true combination of an Alder body, Maple neck and a Rosewood board to match. This tone wood combo is undeniably perfect for a Telecaster, allowing access to everything from twangy resonance to lush creamy leads. The humbucker in the neck gives you a fat full-bodied pickup that accentuates the smoothness and capability of the neck position, while the bridge pick-up can be applied for all your rhythm needs and chik'n pick'n leads. The rosewood board darkens the overall tone of this instrument without dulling any of the sparkle, true to 60's era of Fender's instruments. The reverse control plate gets the pickup switch out of the way and enables easy access to the master volume at all times while playing. This is especially helpful for players that accidentally switch pickups while playing out. The relic on this guitar is heavy with enough finish wear to not feel bad about any dings or scratches!
This guitar is in on trade and it is in great shape. It is a relic from the Fender Custom Shop so the aging was done intentionally. It is fully functioning. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod is functioning. Included with the guitar is the certificate of authenticity and original hardshell case.
