A NAMM 2019 Score! This 64 Stratocaster Relic is finished in Olympic White, an absolute classic color. AAA Flame Maple. AAA Dark Rosewood and an Alder Body combine for an authentic playing and tonal experience.
We have a AAA Flame Maple Neck that is carved to a 60's Oval C Shape. It is topped with a dark AAA Rosewood Fingerboard that has a 9.5" radius and 21 Sanko Frets. The neck has a slim feel in the 1st position with a depth of .790" which tapers up to .930". A traditional feeling 1.650" Nut Width and 25.5" Scale Length combine for the Classic Fender Feel.
A set of hand-wound 60's Spec Single Coil Pickups give this Relic the best tones possible. These pickups have warmth and balance, with a nice vowel-y quack in positions 2 and 4. They are warm and full for a single coil without sacrificing articulation. A master volume, 2 tone controls, and a 5-way switch give us all the tones we need.
