This Gibson Les Paul Special Double Cut is a veritable melting pot of Golden Era Gibson models. Starting with a 1960 Les Paul Special Doublecut as the foundation, Gibson added two Custombuckers, an ABR-1 bridge and stop bar, and a stunning figured maple top to produce a guitar that is easy to handle, gorgeous to look at, and sonically versatile. Custom Shop is proud to present the Les Paul Special Double Cut Figured Top -- a mash up of several circa-1959 vintage Gibson models that looks, feels, and plays like a golden-era classic. We took a 1960 Les Paul Special Double Cut and added a figured maple top, body binding, Custombuckers, and an ABR-1 bridge and stop bar setup. The result is a stunning, retro-mod beauty that plays and sounds like the best of all worlds. Available in three distinct colors with more possible through Made 2 Measure custom orders.
