Description
Truly a collectible here, we have a 2003 Gibson Custom and Historic 1956 Les Paul Goldtop with a Brazilian Rosewood Fingerboard. The instruments from this time period have been coveted for years thanks to the rare tone wood. This one is in very fine shape. It is clean, cosmetically and it is fully functioning. It probably hasn't seen much playing time at all as it looks about as new as one could expect a 15+ year old guitar to look. The neck is straight, the frets are still crowned, and the truss rod is functioning properly. Included with the guitar is the original hardshell case.
There were only a handful of these Goldtop's with P-90's and Brazilian Boards so this is certainly a collectible. If you have been playing guitar for 20 years, you've most likely heard the stories of the 2003 Gibson's with Brazilian Boards. Every few years one seems to surface and they are always a treat to see! This is truly a phenomenal instrument on all levels.
Nobody treats used guitars like we do at The Music Gallery! All trade in's go through an inspection, cleaning, restring and setup before being put out on sale. We even put guitars with bad frets through our Plek machine if need be. If this service peaks your interest learn more here or give us a call!
